Aerial Rescue Training

Feb 25, 2020 by GreenHorizonMaint

Our Arbor Division had the pleasure of having one of the best Arborists in the Country join us on February 10 2020 for our Annual CPR, First Aid, Safety and Aerial Rescue Training.  Jose Mercado with HAA (Hispanic Arborist Association) has been instructing tree care professionals for many years and we were honored to have him run our annual training this year.

Our Arbor Team covered a wide array of topics from ANSI and OSHA standards, Chipper Safety, First Aid, Aerial Rescue and several other topics.

Aerial Rescue is taken very seriously as we are reminded how to assist an injured or non-responsive tree climber who is aloft in a tree and lower him/her safely to the ground so medical attention can be provided.  Training never stops in the tree care industry and is always appreciated by our team.
